Challenge
The client relied on siloed spreadsheets across departments, which created inconsistencies, duplicate entries, and frequent reporting delays. Expansion into e-commerce heightened the need for consolidated, real-time access to clean, structured data.
Our Role
We designed and implemented a robust SQL database architecture in PostgreSQL, following third normal form (3NF) principles. We led schema design workshops with stakeholders, developed stored procedures for data validations, and created views optimised for business reporting. Additionally, we provided training on query writing and performance optimisation.
